The correct answer differs between a daily-driven work ute, a remote touring vehicle and a serious off-road build. Bull bar, winch bar or nudge bar? A full bull bar provides broader frontal protection and may accommodate a winch and auxiliary lighting. A bumper-replacement or winch bar can improve clearance and create a more integrated off-road look, depending on the vehicle. A nudge bar is lighter and useful for mounting selected accessories but offers less coverage.
