Choose a beam for where you drive

Spot beams project light farther down the road, while spread or flood patterns improve width and foreground visibility. Combination beams balance both. Light output figures alone do not tell the full story—optics, beam control, mounting height, colour temperature and usable distance influence real performance.

Driving lights and LED light bars

Round driving lights suit many bull-bar installations and can provide strong long-distance output. Light bars offer a low-profile form and are available in different lengths and beam patterns. Mounting position must consider cooling, vibration, vehicle sensors, bonnet reflection, roof noise and legal requirements.

Correct switching and wiring

A professional lighting installation uses correctly sized cable, relays or compatible control modules, appropriate fusing, protected connections and compliant switching. Modern vehicles may require model-specific integration. Wiring should be routed away from heat, abrasion and moving parts.

UHF radios and antennas

UHF CB is useful for convoy communication, track information and contacting other road users. Radio format may be a traditional in-dash unit, compact hideaway body with controls in the handset or another vehicle-compatible arrangement. Antenna gain and mounting position should match terrain: a lower-gain pattern can suit hilly country, while higher gain may favour flatter, open areas.
