Toyota HiLux Accessories & Fitting - Sunshine Coast

HiLux owners keep their utes longer than most, which changes what they come to us for. Alongside new-vehicle fitouts we do a lot of second-life work on N70s and early N80s: tired springs replaced with a kit rated for how the ute is actually loaded, a bar and lights added a decade after purchase, a canopy swapped for a tray. The range here reflects that.

Models and generations we fit

  • N70 (2005-2015) Still a common sight on the Coast and still supported - suspension, barwork, canopies and 12V.
  • N80 (2015-2020) The largest HiLux fitment range we hold. Radar cruise appears on higher trims late in this run.
  • N80 facelift (2020 onwards) New front end, so bars, flares and underbody protection differ from the earlier N80 despite the shared body. Rogue and Revo variants have their own fitments.
  • Rogue and Revo Wide-body and accessory-pack variants that change flare, step and bar fitment. Worth naming when you enquire.

Protection and barwork

Bull bars, nudge bars, steel and alloy side steps, rock sliders, rear bars, wheel carriers, bash plates and flares. The 2020 facelift is the dividing line for anything that touches the front of the vehicle, and the wide-body Rogue is different again around the guards and steps. Everything we supply is airbag-compatible and ADR compliant for the variant it is listed against.

Suspension, GVM and towing

Lift kits, heavy duty leaf packs, load levelling airbags and certified GVM upgrades pre- and post-registration. The HiLux's rear leaf setup responds well to being matched properly to a constant load, and a lot of the utes we see have simply worn out their factory springs rather than needing a lift. Towbars, electric brake controllers and vehicle-specific harnesses are fitted here.

Canopies, trays and storage

Fibreglass canopies, alloy and steel trays and tray-back canopies, hard lids, roller covers, tub liners, drawer systems and roof racks. HiLux tub dimensions are stable across the N80 run, which makes second-hand canopy transfers more workable on this ute than on most - worth asking about before buying new.

12V, lighting and touring

Dual battery and lithium setups, DC-DC chargers, solar, driving lights, light bars, UHF and complete touring fitouts. On N70s we also see a lot of ageing accessory wiring worth re-doing properly when a new system goes in.

Common questions

Will an N80 bull bar fit my 2021 HiLux?

Not necessarily. The 2020 facelift changed the front end, so anything touching the bumper, grille or flares is specific to either the 2015-2020 N80 or the 2020-on facelift. Give us the build month and variant.

Can I move my canopy from my old HiLux to a new one?

Often yes within the N80 run, since the tub dimensions carried over. Mounting hardware and any wiring usually needs redoing. Bring us the canopy details and we will check the fit before you commit.

Is a lift kit or a load kit right for my HiLux?

A lift if you want clearance and larger tyres. A load-rated kit if the ute carries a permanent canopy or works loaded - which is most of the HiLuxes we see. Neither raises your legal GVM; only a certified upgrade does.
