Which towbar is right for your vehicle?
The best towbar is not simply the one with the highest advertised rating. Your safe towing limit is governed by the lowest applicable rating across the vehicle, towbar, tow ball or coupling, ball mount, trailer and other towing components. Class 2 light-duty towbars
A Class 2 towbar is a practical choice for lighter towing requirements. It is commonly rated up to 1,200 kg, although the actual rating depends on the vehicle and the towbar selected. Class 2 designs often use a fixed or bolt-on tongue and are typically suited to smaller cars, compact SUVs and light-duty applications.

Class 4 heavy-duty towbars

Recovery towbars for 4WDs
A recovery towbar combines towing capability with purpose-designed, rated recovery points for suitable 4WD applications. Compared with a conventional heavy-duty towbar, some recovery models also improve departure clearance, protect vulnerable components and position electrical plugs more securely for off-road travel.
