Toyota LandCruiser Accessories & Fitting - Sunshine Coast

LandCruiser is really four different vehicles wearing one badge, and they are bought for different reasons. The 70 Series is a work and remote-touring platform that most owners tray and fit out from new. The 200 and 300 Series are heavy wagons that tow. Prado sits between the two. We hold fitments across all of them, and the first question we ask is always which series.

Models and generations we fit

  • 70 Series - 76, 78 and 79 Wagon, troop carrier and cab chassis. The 79 in particular is a tray-and-canopy vehicle from day one, and one of the most heavily fitted-out utes we build.
  • 200 Series (2007-2021) Our largest LandCruiser fitment range. Heavy tow vehicle, so suspension, GVM and towing work dominates.
  • 300 Series (2021 onwards) New platform with a full driver assistance suite - barwork and front-end fitment is model specific and growing quickly.
  • Prado (120, 150 and current) Lighter platform with its own barwork, suspension and touring fitments; nothing from the 200 or 300 Series transfers.

Barwork and protection

Bull bars, nudge and loop bars, rear bars, wheel and jerry can carriers, side steps, rock sliders, bash plates and underbody protection. On the 300 Series the radar and camera package makes bar choice a technical decision; on the 70 Series it is closer to a structural one, because the bar is usually carrying a winch and the vehicle is genuinely going remote. All ADR compliant and airbag-compatible for the series listed.

Trays, canopies and 79 Series builds

The 79 Series cab chassis is the platform we build most completely: alloy or steel tray, headboard, under-tray toolboxes, water and fuel, a service body or tray-back canopy, drawers and a rooftop tent. Because it arrives as a cab chassis rather than a tub ute, the tray is the first decision rather than an afterthought, and the whole build is quoted together. Wagon models take roof platforms, drawer systems and rear storage instead.

Suspension, GVM and towing

Lift kits, heavy duty spring and leaf packs, remote-reservoir shocks, load levelling airbags and certified GVM upgrades, pre-registration and post-registration. The 200 and 300 Series are bought to tow, so the figure that bites is usually the combined vehicle-and-trailer mass rather than the vehicle's own limit - tell us what you tow and we will work from that end. Towbars, brake controllers, towing mirrors and wiring are fitted here.

12V, touring and remote capability

Dual battery and lithium systems, DC-DC chargers, solar, inverters, fridges, driving lights, light bars, UHF, long range fuel and water. On 70 Series builds the electrical system is designed with the tray and canopy rather than after it.

Common questions

Do 200 Series parts fit a 300 Series?

Almost nothing does. The 300 Series is a new platform with a different front end, different electronics and its own fitment range. Treat them as separate vehicles when shopping for parts.

Can you build a complete 79 Series tray and canopy setup?

Yes, and it is one of the jobs we do most. Tray, headboard, toolboxes, canopy or service body, water and fuel, 12V, drawers and matched suspension, quoted and built as one job at Warana rather than assembled from separate suppliers.

Will a heavily fitted LandCruiser need a GVM upgrade?

Frequently, and on a towing build the GCM matters as much as the GVM. We can weigh the finished vehicle and certify an upgrade either pre-registration or post-registration.
